Colonoscopy

Although a colonoscopy is a common outpatient procedure, it is critical that it be performed by an endoscopist with proven high-quality records such as those at Alabama Endoscopy Center. This procedure will examine the inside of your large intestine and can be used to remove precancerous polyps, diagnose rectal and intestinal bleeding or for colon cancer detection.

Esophagogastroduodenoscopy (EGD)

For digestive diseases or problems in your upper gastrointestinal tract (GI), an EGD can be performed using an endoscope to examine the lining of your esophagus, stomach and small intestine.
